1.- CLOTHES (ROPA)

- Take off one´s clothes: quitarse la ropa, desvestirse

       Take off your hat or take your hat off.

- Put on one´s clothes: ponerse la ropa

      It´s cold. Put on your anorak or put your anorak on.

- Get dressed: vestirse

- Wear: llevar (ropa)

      Police officers wear uniforms.

      What are you wearing today? (¿Qué ropa llevas hoy?)

- Clothes is always plural. 

- A garment, a piece of clothing , an item of clothing is singular 

(una prenda de vestir)
